I love wearing florals in the winter. There is something so warm about seeing bright flowers in the midst of a cold and baren landscape that makes me break out my florals every winter! (I'm also secretly hoping that this will somehow help bring spring faster to Antarctica Chicago..). And you all know that I love my pattern clashing, so doubling up on the florals was definitely the obvious choice!
For this editorial we were going for an orchidish theme, and had a lot of fun working on this project and experimenting with photography! What do you think?

Oh alsoo this shoot was also taken this morning (check out a behind the scenes photo up on my Instagram!) at daybreak in the below-freezing weather, so don't mind the fact that I look like an ice cube...(because I kind of actually was)...

Oh and in regards to my absence, I just returned from a roadtrip (yes somehow my friends and I had the right amount of crazy to be able to drive to Detroit midst a blizzard..) and will be posting the photos from Haneif's event up soon! Thank you to everyone who came out! xx

Happy Martin Luther King Day! xx

P.S. Yes I know I'm wearing the same leggings as I was in my last post but they definitely have a different feel in this shoot, no?
