Last Saturday I got the amazing opportunity to attend a beautiful fashion show with Alex and Zach hosted by the students at DePaul University's UNICEF! Not only were the pieces beautifully designed and styled, but all the proceeds went directly toward the university's chapter of UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) and their wonderful work raising awareness for international humanitarianism! But more on that in tomorrow's post! (Or, if you'd like a sneak peek you can check out (and like!) DePaul UNICEF's page here: http://on.fb.me/Og4aSv or my *new* facebook page, where I'm posting a few teasers--teehee! here: http://on.fb.me/1ff6yiw).

As opposed to the last show I attended where I just put together all the patterns from my closet (check it out here!), I decided to turn the opposite way and deviate a bit from my usual style of pattern clashes and turned to clean, white lines. (Okay, well, not all the way deviant--I couldn't resist and added a bright scarf!). Also, I wore one of my favorite jackets to play off of the varsity/street-style theme of the show!

After the show, en route to finding food, we came across a cool dark alley and obviously couldn't resist to take a few photos!
Don't forget to drop by tomorrow to see all of the lovely collections from the show!
