Oh the warm weather and calm vibes of Oklahoma ~ it feels so good to be home!
After a sleepless week of finals and more snow in Chicago, nothing beats flying home and sleeping all day in the warmth of the south (yes, I said it...there is something I actually enjoy about the south...but after surviving countless polar vortexes, I'm ready for some sun!).

It also helped that when I arrived, I was greeted with this gorgeous skirt and ring from 4 All Humanity! The skirt pattern is so beautiful and unique and definitely makes a statement--both in your closet and in the lives of their artisans in Uganda! 4 All Humanity is definitely one of my favorite socially-responsible and philanthropic brands--all of their products are so beautifully designed, ethically made, and affordable--a rare combination in the fashion industry!

While they employ artisans in cooperative all around the world, this particular skirt was sewn by women in Kampala, Uganda with organic cotton!

All artisans employed by 4 All Humanity are paid a living wage that allows them to, among other things, own their own home and send their children to school. It is no doubt that they are "alleviating poverty through apparel!"

ALSO you can enter to win your own beautiful and ethical skirt (similar to mine!) along with two other fabulous prizes from socially-responsible brands! Check it out and enter here!

Giveaway ends at the end of Iranian New Years (March 2nd)!  Best of luck!
