It might just be the fresh rain or a fresh perspective, but this pattern-clasher has retreated into the dark abyss of black minimalism. Not sure why. But I sort of like it here. Currently craving black pieces in unique cuts and shapes. Aka that jacket in photo 3 and the top in photo 4.

I've also been kind of craving for some black on black items, but doesn't have a lot to go for for now. Great post though! Stunning inspiration. Xxx

It seems minimalism is catching hold! I've been converted for a while now, haha, and yes, the trick would be cool cuts and shapes :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! Glad you liked it! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you! x
ReplyDeleteHaha I think it is mostly because I under-packed for my quarter studying abroad so I've been converting over to minimalism through half need-based, haha ;)
ReplyDeleteoh but your face is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you for dropping by! Glad you enjoy the post!
ReplyDeleteWow, very minimal indeed! Even the colour. Yes, I like pieces in photo 3 too, the skirt looks really cute. I love colours, but I do have quite some blacks in my wardrobe too, but sunny weather here makes wearing black slightly hot, but they are most definitely a staple!
ReplyDeleteNice choices, though I secretly wish that most models today can have a little more flesh (meatier and heavier). They seem to be way too skinny! >_<
Cheers,

You have sunny weather? Oh my I must say I'm rather jealous! Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? :) This is the first *warm* winter I've had, as I'm studying abroad in Morocco, but I don't know why I seem to be attracted to black colors in the warmer weather, which I suppose is counter-intuitive like you say!
ReplyDeleteAnd ah, you're really so right, a bit more diversity in the body images of these models would have been nice. :/ I will make it my mission to make sure that my next editorial post will be more inclusive of all body types and colors! :) Thank you for mentioning this, Jeann!!
